The recreation report at the shareholders meeting was good. I t was nice to hear how much was made. I then looked at
the recreation ledger in the website and saw the money go into the ledger. Before we only saw money go out. Bet the
treasurer is happy to see the accountability of the funds at last. Way to go recreation committee. Would still be nice to
see the accountability of recreation funds for prior years.

I would also be willing to donte $25 towards the Ping Pong table. Maybe the Board could consider matching the funds that are being raised thus reaching the total amount to purchase faster.

I would also be willing to donate $25 towards the ping pong table. I think it's a great idea and would look forward
to seeing that available to the shareholders.

Hey Paul, the Ping Pong table is a great Idea. I will start the ball rolling by donating $25.00 . Let me know if you get enough takers and I will give you the money. Thanks for taking the initiative to raise the funds for the Rec Hall.

I recently submitted a suggestion to the Recreation Commitee that it would be a good idea to purchase a decent Ping Pong table for The Rec Hall...unfortunately it was turned down due to a lack of funds in the Recreation budget. I am offering to donate the first $100 to establish a fund to purchase a good table. I have a good friend who owns a sporting goods business who is willing to sell us a table at dealer cost. I can get an $800 table for around $450-$500.
Anyone else out there interested in chipping in and perhaps get a little fun exercise into the bargain?
Lemme know!

I read with great interest that there have been a few changes made in the rec committee that will hopefully lead to more
appropriate music for a family park and perhaps a return to the family dances on weekends up at the lodge
.
What concerns me is that some people have the idea that this means the end of Friday jams, the labour day bash, and other
events previously controlled by the people who have also quit in protest to the replacement of the treasurer.
This is absolutely false. There is no reason we can't reorganize a new recreational association and various committees to
continue with social events the majority would like to see happening for all family members.
If you are interested in being part of these activities in our park please make your interest known to any of the board members ,
and lets move ahead right away with uninterrupted Friday jams, dances, and any other activities membership may want.
Change is inevitable, progress is optional
